Recipe for Hate
Recipe for Hate by Bad Religion was released in 1993. It is yet another prophetic Bad Religion song (and album of the same name), revealing almost 30 years ago that hate is an engineered product, a product we now see every day in the United States. You can say it is just #2020goals, but these elements conspired for decades to fracture and destroy our society. Bad Religion was oft derided for taking things too seriously, but no one is laughing now. They saw what was coming and warned you, and you did nothing.
Before I start, there are some interesting things about this album I will mention. Of course, the album is guitar-driven, though it was undoubtedly composed on both piano and guitar. But, believe it or not, this album has some country influences (which makes sense because country is a cousin to folk music, of which I consider hardcore directly related). Johnette Napolitano of Concrete Blonde sang on it, which is odd. You don't hear a woman's vocals on Bad Religion songs, like, ever. Also, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam sang on some songs, too. He was obsessed with Bad Religion and was hanging around the recording studio, trying to make friends with the band. Apparently, he was successful and ended up singing on a couple of songs. Greg Graffin shreds his way through the lyrics in typical Bad Religion fashion. The lyrics were always the most important part of the songs. Even the guitar solo (not a typical part of hardcore music) was designed to give Greg a break to catch his breath. And I could immediately tell who the drummer was (Bobby Shayer), even though it has been years since I listened to this song, because his drumming sounds different, as he would chop the ends of the sticks for better grip and turn them around, using the blunt ends to strike. That gives the drums a thicker sound. I recall my ex fighting another girl for Bobby's sticks (the other girl clearly had them first) after a Bad Religion show in Ann Arbor, Michigan (at the Blind Pig). I intervened and let the other girl have the sticks because it's silly to fight over stuff like that. Bobby always gave his sticks away after shows, which I thought was cool.
But anyway.
To divide and conquer has long been a goal of the elite who control the masses but make them think they are acting of their own volition. They preach into them, program them, and set them in array against each other. In the United States, we have the legacy of slavery, which has long been used to divide us, and you see that in other countries with the same colonial legacy. You will never hear me defending slavery or the racial inequality left in its wake, but you will hear me angrily defy the way it is used against us. The elite don't want us to forget and move on in unity. They want it to always be in front of us in movies and music and whatnot, a constant reminder of how evil white people are. And, of course, we killed all the Native Americans, too. Don't forget that. Never mind we were at war, with both sides killing each other. (Oh, and let's not mention they kept slaves, too.) And disease killed most of the natives before they ever saw a white person. The facts don't matter in this new era, and that's why we've blindly erased our history, whitewashing it into oblivion. We created a new version of history that renders us unable to learn from it. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it, they say. Our country is looking a lot like pre-Nazi Germany right now. They also wiped away history in order to replace it. This isn't looking good.
Expect a virtual book burning next. In fact, it is already taking place, as Melinda Gates (What is that thing? That is not a woman; that was created in a lab and smacked with an ugly stick.) told us they are working on rewriting our classic literature to erase gender bias. All the gender stuff is problematic right now because these people insist there are more than two genders. Oh, how God must be angry with us and our changing the truth of creation into a lie. So we're throwing away the traditional notion of gender and embracing a very slippery lie, which is ever-changing, but don't you question it! Anyway, they're replacing these problematic texts with updates ones. If you have the old classics, keep them. They'll be worth money. All of the classics in digital form can be easily updated, but the hard copies obviously cannot. The irony of this is the elite writers such as Aldous Huxley, Ray Bradbury, and George Orwell were change agents themselves, preparing society for these changes we are now seeing. They were not prophets. They were part of the elite and had foreknowledge.
I realize right now the truth is not a popular thing, but all of this division is engineered. It is fed to us in our history books (which have been rewritten by the elite), in books, magazines, music, movies, and every other form of popular culture. The truth, which was once unassailable, has scurried out the door, followed by an angry mob of masked miscreants hell bent on having things their way, toppled statues and burning buildings in their wake. The new truth doesn't rely on logic but on force and intimidation. Don't question their version of the truth, or you will burn, too. We live in scary times, but we allowed it. We shut down businesses and whole economies and demonstrations meant to end lockdowns and quarantines yet allowed hoodlums to destroy our cities at will with no one daring to lift a finger to stop them. The people who want to get back to normal are the enemy while those who want bloodshed and mayhem are hailed as saints. If you want peace and prosperity, you are the enemy. If you want to destroy the United States, you are allowed free reign. That is a clear engineered crisis and not organic in the slightest. You can blame George Soros or Michael Bloomberg (and, yes, they are evil), but they just work for their masters. They are the faces the elite allow you to see. The unseen hand moves even them.
I use this secular song to make a point. Bad Religion never offered a solution. They simply pointed out problems, allowing their listeners to think for themselves about the solution. But I will tell you the solution, which is complete repentance of God's people and a mighty awakening or revival. Only that will set the devil back in his plans for our destruction. Notice I didn't say everyone in the United States. The Bible says that only God's people have to come to repentance. From there, the flames will spread. Stomp on those flames, and they will spread even more, just like a grease fire. Christianity always spread when it was persecuted. And that is already here. Expect it to worsen if God's people don't turn back to Him soon.
We don't have to be a part of the recipe for hate around us. We can be the solution to all of that. God calls us to be apart from the world and its problems. There will always be trials and tribulations for those who follow God, but the enormity of those trials and tribulations are in God's hands. I pray we change His mind and He spares us the imminent destruction we deserve. I'm not a fatalist. There is still hope. God allows time and space for repentance, and, ultimately, God is merciful. Thank you for reading, and God bless. *** I believe God is moving me in a different direction with my writing, so expect this blog to wrap up soon. More on that later. ***
The promise of prosperity
It's overwhelming you and me
It afflicts us like a disease
Ubiquitous compelling too
And inject such a potent seed
It's best for all humanity
The sword of progress
The vector of suffrage
A warm and septic breeze
The duty and vocation
The blood of the hybrid
It's just a recipe
The frightful lack of harmony
Our fore-fathers who led the way
Their victims are still here today
Now it's time to erase the story
Our history as it's portrayed
It's just a recipe for hate
